Is there away to mod your xbox for free????????

I want to mod my xbox mostly for Halo 2 and I really want to do it but dont have a clue at all how to mod and i CANT spend any money on it!!!!! So if anyone knows how to do it for free please tell me how to burn a CD-R disc of a modded halo 2!!!!!

one more question can I find a program on lime wire to mod Halo 2?????
