what should i get as my first game for the xbox 360?

I'm getting one on Saturday, i ether want SKATE or dead rising, but i dont know much other games.

depends on how much you want to spend, but here is a list of some good games for the 360:
lost planet:extreme condition
call of duty 4
halo 3
gears of war

gears halo and cod4 are all 60$ new and like 50 used...lost planet is only like 30$ new and 25 used

Mass Effect or Bioshock if you like shooting games. If you like classic rpg I would get Blue Dragon. If you like sports then I would get either Madden or Fight Night.

I honestly think you should get Dead Rising between those two. But here are some better ones than those.
