XBOX 360...Can you view your game on your laptop while playing online?

Here's the deal...I'm the parent of a teen that just bought his XBOX360 and Halo 3. His current setup is hooking up his XBOX360 to our only home computer in the kitchen and bringing the TV from his room down to the kitchen - it's a big mess.

He's getting an Alienware laptop and we're going wireless but our kid swears that he won't be able to play online with the wireless connection. He also says that he can't hook up the XBOX to the desktop's monitor or laptop.

I'm asking, first of all, what's your setup to play your 360 live online. And can you play on your computer monitor (desktop or laptop) instead of using your TV and what kind of cable(s) are needed to do that.

The point is, his TV needs to stay in his room. And we're not putting the internet in his room, but when we're wireless, he'll be allowed to have internet in the family room. We want him to be able to play online in the family room without monopolizing the only TV in there.

We have high speed internet through our cable company and plan on buying a wireless router.
