Do you need to play a monthly fee to play an xbox game online with your tv?

Yes, you do but, usually it isn't really that bad.

You can go to GameStop or EB Games or any gaming store and get a 12-month subscription card for like $50 but, it really isn't that bad of a deal for it letting you play Xbox Live unlimited on all Xbox Live enabled games.

WoW is around $200 a year! Yikes! Xbox Live is way cheaper!

You can pay like $8 for a month, $20 for three months, or $50 for 13 months. The 13 month card is actually on sale for $40 at Circut City right now.
