Is it possible that GDC could be slowing down my xbox live downloads and online play?

A few days ago my XBOX Live went mega mega slow and I've tried everything to get it working. I notice last night when the GDC finished that it went completely back to normal. But it started up again this morning.
Do you think it's possible that GDC was slowing it down and that it would be better again in a few hours or days?

i think so....because i have it too but now my xbox wery slow so i sell it..i don't think u need to sell it..just don't download nothing(if it is ur problem)
