My xbox 360 controller keeps disconnecting?

On my xbox 360 on every game i have the controller keeps disconnecting everytime i either get hurt on a fightin game or when i crash on a racing game what is the matter with this and how can i fix it?
no its like evrytime the controller vibrates then it disconnects and im using batteries but they have 3 bars left in them is there some way i can stop the vibtation of the controller through the xbox dashboard because on some of the games it dont give the option

well if its a wireless controller u might need new battery or to charge it.

one reason can be because the battery is maybe dead and need to be replaced....or ur controller could juss be messd up if u have dropped it or banged it on sumthin or u have fiddled with the inside of it...if ur using a charger while playin maybe its not plugged in all the way...

I have this Xbox too and it always disconnect like yours, i think you need someone to fix that..hope this works!

The rumble pack needs more than average energy to work, so if your batteries are low, and something happens that requires your rumble pack to activate, it'll kill the batteries and shut your controller off.

Edit:

No, unless you unscrew the controller and find the wires that connect the runble pack and disconnect, them it's unlikely that you will be able to turn off the rumble pack.

The controller should have some sort of warranty on it. Just call Xbox support @ (800) 469-9269 [(800) 4my-xbox] see what they can do, it is a defective controller after all, not your fault, they should replace it.
