Midnight Club: Los Angeles is HORRIBLE!?!?!?
Hey, there. I am not going to judge you for your opinion. I will try to help instead. Gamers are somewhat confused about the difficulty of Midnight Club LA. Trust me you do not suck. However, the game is not too hard either. Races are separated base on difficulty. They span from green to red which represents easy to hardest. You decide your fate. Also the game had an auto difficulty setting in order to adjust the AI to your driving. This means, the more races you cross the finish line in anything less than first place, the races will get easier. If you restart the race, the A.I. will be just as hard as it was in the previous race. You also get cash and rep points whether you win or lose, and you can advance through your career, unlock cars and parts just by losing.
About the race with Nikolai, do you use burnout starts? do you hit traffic often? do you use slip stream turbos? Do you feather the throttle during turns instead of overly breaking or handbreaking? I am 70% in the career and I have played more than 50 hours and I can tell you that the A.I. messes up a whole lot.
Oh and yes he might fly 210 MPH ahead of you with the same car, but do you know what upgrades he made to his car? Just because they look the same doesn't mean they have the same performance. Also the A.I. upgrades whenever you do.
My advice to you is to give this game another chance, to practice races and to use forums in order to brush up on your knowledge. It will be a huge frustration reliever.
