What is the best free roam, split-screen driving / racing game for Wii or XBox 360?

My kids use to love playing split screen Midnight Club for old XBox, but it's not backwards compatible with the 360. And now I can't find anything for either the Wii or the 360 that does both free roam AND split screen. Any ideas?

I'd prefer something for the Wii for the interesting steering, but if I'm open to Xbox 360 games also. I've tried Excite Truck and Need for Speed Carbon, but neither draw them in (or me) like Midnight Club did, and there's no free roam on either anyway.

Split screen is nice so two can play together, and free roam is nice so you can do whatever (the kids get real creative) and there's no time limit.

try any kind of need for speed games or just sell the wii or the xbox 360 and buy a ps2 (playstation2) and get midnight club

If you/your kids like Midnight Club soo much,why not get Midnight Club:Los Angeles for the 360.

You can also get Need for Speed Undercover for both systems.
Altough this game may not ne suitable for children below 13.(I edited half the page)

Both of them are Freeroam,have massive amounts of cars,Online,comin' soon.
I'm getting both as well.
